If we are allowed to build the new cycle tracks you would be able to cycle to college even if the traffic in Farnham is gridlocked.
Yes, Farnham is hilly especially the route to Hale but hills just disappear with an electric-assist bike.
Cars cost a lot money to run. A new electric-assist bike probably costs less than 1 year's car insurance.
Car parking is limited at UCA and Farnham Sixth Form College so cycling removes all the worry about not getting a parking space. UCA are now building more bike parking spaces as part of the new accommodation block construction
Part of the FIP Phase 1 build will be a new cycle track from Hale to Farnham through Farnham Park, arriving just off Castle Street
